9 years ago we chose to start our business in Chattanooga, Tennessee and it was the best decision we could’ve made. Chattanooga has been a gift to our families and our business, and we’re truly proud to call this place home.

In Chattanooga, Taylor and I have learned what it means to be entrepreneurs. We’ve made mistakes (a lot of them). Collectively, we’ve employed over 40 creatives (mostly Millennials) and recruited many families to take a chance on this mid-sized city with a metropolis-sized heart.

Starting a business from scratch at the age of 23 wasn’t the smartest move in the world. It was a decision made from the gut. A decision that has brought me endless joy and sacrifice. A decision that spurred other people to take a chance on our young company. As we’ve grown, so have our families, but our commitment to serving purposeful organizations remains.

Since the beginning our team has been entrusted to serve alongside over 300 organizations all over the world—from Morocco to Iraq, Cambodia to London, New York to California—our work has been truly global. We’ve continued to fight the good fight from Chattanooga and we’re not going anywhere. In fact, quite the opposite.

It’s our mission to empower visionaries to lead meaningful brands through strategy, design, and technology. To accomplish our mission we’re extending our reach and geography, specifically in Atlanta, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee. If you’re a creative that cares deeply about doing work with purposeful brands—organizations at the intersection of profit and doing good—we’re inviting you to apply to our remote network.

In Atlanta, we’ve been privileged to work alongside organizations such as NCR, Purposity, Airbus Aerial, Brand Apart, ADDO, Chick-fil-A, Gravy, and more. Having a presence in Atlanta means investing more time and energy into communities we love like Plywood People (where I’m an advisor) and Oust Labs, a new startup accelerator.

In Nashville, we’ve served alongside Q Ideas, She Reads Truth, Aspiration Entertainment, Governor Bill Lee, and more. Truth be told we’ve been in Nashville, Tennessee for many years now. Longtime team member and newly appointed Director of Digital Product, Peter Court, will be leading our operation there.

Across the United States, we’re asking creatives who are interested in using their gifts to do purposeful work to apply to join our remote network. Some new additions to our team include people from Madison, Wisconsin, Orlando, Florida, and Austin, Texas.

Globally, we’re continuing to cultivate relationships in the B Corporation community and join other businesses in the pursuit to make the world a better place for all of us.

Finally, in Chattanooga we’re working to launch a new venue for our community to utilize (more on that later), continuing to invest in the CreativeMornings community, and serving as a sanctuary headquarters to our Atlanta and Nashville locations and national network.

9 years in...and we’re just getting started.
