Whiteboard partnered with Chattanooga FC for their ninth consecutive season of uniform design, following our established tradition of alternating design approaches. Drawing on patterns from more established clubs worldwide, we had created a rhythm: cleaner, conservative designs in navy and white for odd years, with more experimental approaches in sky and gold for even years. The 2017 season marked a return to the founding color palette with an all-navy home kit and all-white away kit. We refined the collar design from the 2015 National Finalist team, maintaining the same color as the jersey while adding strips of sky and gold highlight colors that run down each side and converge below the collar. The bright green goalkeeper kit drew inspiration from Chattanooga FC's new partnership with VfL Wolfsburg, whose electric green home jersey influenced our design direction.
