We partnered with MonkeDAO to create a brand that could take them to the next stage of growth after their successful initial NFT launch featuring unique 8-bit Monkey portraits. Working closely with this innovative community, we developed a visual identity that reflects their quirky, fun, and irreverent culture while maintaining the bold, professional characteristics needed for their libertarian ideals around privacy rights, democratic processes, and Web3 investment philosophy. We created a brand design featuring odd contrast in the logotype, cheeky rotation of the "D", strategic use of color for high contrast moments, and heavy black lines in icons that feel quirky yet self-assured. The visual impression is meant to feel bold and confident while embracing unconventional aesthetic decisions that capture their unique community spirit in the evolving NFT and cryptocurrency landscape.
