New visual identity supporting workforce development coalition's shift to collective impact methodology
Whiteboard partnered with Chattanooga 2.0 to create a bold new visual identity that marked their strategic evolution from traditional coalition work to collective impact methodology. The organization formed in response to alarming workforce statistics—by 2025, 80% of living-wage jobs in Hamilton County would require degrees or technical credentials, yet only 38% of citizens met those requirements. When over 3,700 Chattanoogans voiced concerns about the skills gap, Chattanooga 2.0 was born. In 2020, their new Executive Director implemented a collective impact strategy—a multi-sector collaborative approach designed to address deep-rooted community challenges at their root cause. Whiteboard designed a fresh logo that symbolically captured this transformative approach, representing the coalition's commitment to turning the page and opening doors to systematic change. The new identity positions Chattanooga 2.0 as a forward-thinking organization capable of driving population-level improvements through long-term alignment and collaborative problem-solving.
