Sharing a culinary awakening

When we met Nate Hybl in late 2017, he shared his vision for identity, self-awareness, and inspiring that awakening in others. More than a restaurant, gusto! embodies the Spirit of Gusto - a manifesto of awakenings and human value.
We partnered with gusto! and Nate Hybl to create a web and media strategy as cheerful and sun-soaked as the restaurant itself, building on their vision for identity, self-awareness, and inspiring that awakening in others through the Spirit of Gusto manifesto. Working closely with their team, we identified three key goals: bring the food so close you could practically taste it, communicate the sophistication of the gusto! brand without a hint of pretense, and above all, make every interaction with gusto on the web a delight that is simple, clear, and fun. Through comprehensive collaboration spanning in-depth photography of both deconstructed ingredients and their final form, bright classically minimal design approach with fundamentals of great typography, and a mobile-focused performant user experience, we created more than just a restaurant website. The result empowered gusto! with a digital presence that captures their culinary awakening philosophy, inspiring visitors to live today with gusto while showcasing the sophisticated yet approachable dining experience that awaits them in Atlanta, Georgia.
