Heritage-focused logo design for established real estate company
Following Whiteboard's successful redesign of the Healy & Co website in early 2018, owner John Healy sought a new logo that would distance the company from its previous SVN association while establishing a distinct identity rooted in heritage and history. The challenge was creating a mark that would stand out in the competitive landscape of contemporary real estate branding, where most logos follow predictable modern conventions. Our approach centered on celebrating the company's established presence through authentic architectural details and craftsmanship-inspired typography. Designer Travis Hitchcock developed a unique vintage line rendering of the company's actual office building, pairing it with a carefully customized version of the LHF Whistler typeface. This combination created a distinctive identity that communicates stability, local expertise, and authentic connection to place - values that resonate strongly in real estate where trust and community knowledge are paramount. The resulting logo system provides Healy & Co with a memorable brand presence that honors their history while confidently competing in today's market.
