Junior Achievement

Breadbox leverages the educational expertise of Junior Achievement to provide a free financial education tool for companies to provide to their employees. Junior Achievement is dedicated to educating and equipping young people with the skills they need for economic success and spent a year building the educational content and vision-casting how the platform could make the most impact.

We partnered with Junior Achievement as a strategic partner to bring their vision for a comprehensive financial education platform to life through strategy, design, and development. Working after Junior Achievement established the educational content and mission, we mapped features to achieve their vision while accounting for technical and strategic implications that encourage learning versus creating shame and disappointment. To match Breadbox's encouraging and optimistic approach, the brand evolved into a bright, energetic, and lively experience with gamified badges, financial illustrations, and a scalable educational platform system. We built a robust WordPress learning platform using Lifter LMS with custom features, intentional gamification, expert-written content, and individualized progress tracking. The result provides companies with a free tool for employee financial education, covering skills like building credit, funding education, and investing, while giving Junior Achievement rights to expand the positive impact across multiple corporate sectors.
