When Jonathan Golden sought to evolve the Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee brand, we stepped in to enhance packaging, ecommerce, and launch a new subscription service. Founded in 2007 with a vision of paying fair wages to Rwandan farmers while bringing quality coffee to lovers worldwide.
We partnered with Land of a Thousand Hills founder Jonathan D Golden to evolve their coffee brand, recognizing the opportunity he identified in 2005 to aid war-torn Rwanda through specialty coffee. Working closely with Jonathan, we enhanced packaging, ecommerce, and launched a new subscription service, understanding that Thousand Hills coffee was founded in 2007 with a vision of paying fair wages to farmers while bringing quality product to coffee lovers. The introduction of specialty coffee became an opportunity for once-warring countrymen to rebuild homesteads and work together towards lasting peace, with Land of a Thousand Hills partnering with farmers and local community leaders to create sustainable income. In 2017, Jonathan reached out to learn about digital marketing and build a new coffee subscription service, and our collaboration resulted in a new website, subscription service, and Culture Book that outlines their mission, values, organizational structure, and goals as a brand committed to bringing hope to developing coffee communities.
