Pro bono poster designs for the mayor's annual community gathering

Every year, Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke hosts a special community event that brings together select constituents for an evening celebrating what makes the city great. The gathering centers around three essential elements: barbecue, a carefully curated Bruce Springsteen playlist, and the mayor himself, earning it the perfect title 'Bruce BBQ and Berke.' Whiteboard donated our creative services to develop a series of poster designs that captured the spirit of this unique civic celebration. Our team explored various visual approaches that honored both the casual, community-focused nature of the event and the energy of Springsteen's music. These three finalist designs showcase different typographic and aesthetic directions, each reflecting the authentic, down-to-earth character that defines both the mayor's approach to leadership and this beloved annual tradition.
