A talented architect starting his new practice needed a distinctive identity that would set his architectural services apart in the marketplace.
Whiteboard had the unique opportunity to partner with architect Thomas Palmer as he launched Palmer Built Environments in 2010. What started as our team asking if we could design his identity turned into an unexpectedly creative journey. The project took an intriguing turn when our Creative Director Paul Rustand had a dream about how the logo should appear - and when we tested the concept, both we and Thomas loved the result. The final identity system featured clean, architectural lines that reflected the precision and thoughtfulness of Thomas's work. We enhanced the brand application with slightly short but extra thick letterpress business cards, demonstrating that attention to detail and craftsmanship that makes any design solution more impactful and memorable.
