We partnered with Purposity to transform Blake Canterbury's vision of democratizing philanthropy from MVP to fully-featured iOS and Android apps that connect communities in real time. Working closely with their team, we started with one school district whose social workers needed a way to help fulfill student needs quickly, utilizing Amazon Wishlists for social workers to curate specific items that community members could purchase. The collaborative approach proved transformative: every week 100% of needs would be met in under 30 minutes. From this powerful foundation, Purposity has grown into a movement of generosity where users can track their giving goals, fulfill needs in locations near to them or somewhere else in the United States, creating your ultimate tool for good that turns technology into immediate community impact.
