Together, the Partner team, who have collectively led Whiteboard and its predecessor and partner firms since their founding, will continue to work closely together, each focusing on a distinct dimension of the agency’s long-term vision, capabilities, and client partnerships.

Whiteboard, a strategy and creative agency dedicated to helping visionary leaders make their vision visible, today announced a series of Partner role evolutions designed to strengthen the agency’s leadership structure and position it for its next era of growth.

The expanded Partner team comprises Whiteboard’s original founders, alongside the founders of FiveStone and Widgets & Stone, bringing together decades of shared experience in strategy, design, product, and client leadership under a unified vision.

Effective immediately:

  • Eric Brown transitions to Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
  • Taylor Jones transitions to Chief Product Officer (CPO)
  • Jason Locy becomes Chief Strategy Officer (CSO
  • Paul Rustand becomes Chief Design Officer (CDO))

A Leadership Structure Built for Whiteboard’s Future

Eric Brown – Chief Executive Officer

As CEO, Brown will guide organizational vision, culture, and long-term strategy. His leadership will focus on expanding Whiteboard’s impact, shaping its future direction, and ensuring the agency remains a trusted partner for meaningful brands around the world.

Taylor Jones – Chief Product Officer

Jones will lead the development and evolution of Whiteboard’s products, frameworks, and digital offerings. As CPO, he will focus on systems and AI-driven capabilities that accelerate clients' movement from idea to execution, while guiding the agency's innovation, prototyping, and integration of emerging technologies with intention and care.

Paul Rustand – Chief Design Officer

Rustand will oversee Whiteboard’s creative philosophy and design excellence across brand, digital, and experience. As CDO, he will shape how design drives meaning, craft, and imagination across the agency’s work and will mentor design leadership across disciplines.

Jason Locy – Chief Strategy Officer

Locy will lead Whiteboard’s strategic practice, supporting client growth and long-term partnerships. ensuring that the agency’s work is consistently grounded in clear intent and aligned to client goals. As CSO, he will focus on applying strategy as a practical, guiding discipline, helping clients translate vision into decisions, align teams around shared priorities, and move toward measurable outcomes.
